REUBEN'S
GOALS FOR STUDENTS:
1.To create a warm friendly environment for learning.
2.To install good practice habits. (Practice is a must
..
you don't practice
.you don't learn).
3.To help all students with their personal goals in music.
The main focus is to teach students how to read and play music.
Music theory, hand exercises, chords and scales are also a
must so you can learn to improvise and create your own music
by ear. Learning to improvise is easy. With practice and patience
anyone can do it.
In order
to obtain master levels in music, one must practice on a consistent
basis.
At Least 4 times at 30 minutes each a week is recommended.
Practice is the time you have to perfect your work and build
you skill. Talent is often mistaken for hard work.
Practice doesn't make perfect
.Perfect practice makes
perfect!!
